Europe Calling “Israel & Palestine: Pathways to Peace”

9.October 20:30 - 22:30

Register here now!

Dear friends!

In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on October 7th 2023 by Hamas and its allies, many European societies and governments stood firmly in grief and solidarity with Israel and the hostages. As the war in Gaza and the broader Middle East continues and spreads out, the desire for a debate that furthers understanding instead of deepening divisions is growing stronger.

Too often, the discourse is polarised to the extremes, leaving little room for discussion and intervention on pathways to peace and a good life for everyone in the region. Crucially, peace activists and initiatives from Israel and Palestine that aim to build bridges don’t get a lot of visibility.

We, two German and one Israeli NGOs, have come together in order to change this, as one thing is clear: the time for peace and understanding is now! We want to hear, discuss, and support those who work tirelessly to create peace and give room to your views, questions and feelings.

We aim to find words to speak about a conflict that leaves many speechless.

The webinar will take place on October 9th, starting at 8:30 PM (CEST).

Our guests are peace activists from both Israel and Palestine that, despite their differences, share the aim to create peace and a better life for everyone.

  • Dr. Rula Hardal is the Palestinian Co-Director of “A Land for All – Two States, One Homeland” (a joint Palestinian-Israeli political organization), and a research fellow at the Kogod Center for the Study of Jewish and Contemporary Thought at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem.
