Europe Calling the German General Election

Dear friends and supporters,
On 23 February 2025, Germany will elect a new Bundestag. The result of this General Election is also a decision on the direction of Europe. However, in the TV debates and the whole campaign, Europe was just a sideshow, with key topics like climate, nature and the future of European democracy virtually absent.
That’s why we invite people from Germany and all over Europe to this webinar three days before the election.
The Green Chancellor candidate Robert Habeck, who has already been to Europe Calling twice as Vice Chancellor, will be there. As will be Franziska Brantner, Green Federal Chairwoman and, not only as a former Member of the European Parliament, a passionate European. Despite being on par with the Social Democrats in the polls, the Greens were excluded from the central TV debate. Hence, we decided to set this counter-point.
The focus of this webinar is on your questions.
We will send all registered participants the link to the question tool in advance, where you can ask your own questions and rank those of others. This way, I can ask our two guests the questions that interest Europe the most.
