From absurd billion-dollar claims in the US to ongoing intimidation in Europe, SLAPPs threaten not just individuals and organisations but the very foundations of democratic debate. EU member states have until 7 May 2026 to bring the anti-SLAPP directive into their national laws, but so far, little progress has been made, and it&#8217;s up to us, the people, to protect our freedoms.<\/p>\n<p>In this webinar, Europe Calling is teaming up with Greenpeace and the Coalition Against SLAPPs in Europe (CASE).\u00a0 Join us to learn, connect, and build solidarity across movements.
